- Orville Taylor is a Jamaican sociologist at the University of the West Indies. Yep! The same one who wrote in the Sunday Gleaner , Gleaner Online and Black History in the Black-oriented UK Newspaper, The Voice. Until the Eagles and Hawks succeed in having him removed, he continues as a minor host on the radio programme Hot Line on Jamaica’s RJR 94 FM. Once the ‘tongue-in-cheek’ player on words, he is no longer subject to the vagaries of an edita. There is still much tongue and much cheek but they do not go together. As on the Hotline, this is where; “The Truth Comes to Live and the Lies Come to Die!” On Wednesdays between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. there is a live link with WVIP 93.5 Link Up Radio from New York. ReplyDeleteWhen you are on Hot Line and you go to take the break at 12 noon, you say:"I will be "black" at 12:30" My question : what colour are you at other times? White? Den Nelson coulda tun white too!
